Artwork, printing & posting (9)
A 6 sheet is the outdoor advertising industry term for a poster which measures 1.2m wide x 1.8m high. This is the size of bus shelter advertising and they can also be free standing units (just advertising, not attached to a bus shelter).
A number of 6 sheets are scrolling which means the space is shared between advertisers (usually three), they scroll up and down between the advertisers
To book your ad, all the information we need from you is detailed in the online checkout process.
If you have your own poster artwork, you will need to supply this to the correct specifications. Please see the FAQ section on production specs for details.
If you require design services, we have a professional designer who will work with you to create your ad. There is a charge of £100 + VAT per design which is extremely good value.
The process is really simple, we’ll send you a briefing form so you can tell us what you want. We’ll ask you for any materials you have like logos and images, and then the designer will get in touch
Yes, if your design matches the dimensions of the poster you are buying you can create your own artwork and upload it as a PDF after you place your order. If not, we’ll provide you a production specification and you’ll need to make the necessary adjustments before sending it to us. Artwork specifications can be found here. (link to specs)
There are a few rules that you have to comply with.
1. Your poster / artwork has to comply with the “UK Advertising Codes”, which are written by the Committee of Advertising Practice. You can find the applicable code on the website of the Committee of Advertising Practice.
2. No alcohol, e-cigarettes, fast food, sweets and toys within 200 meters of schools
3. No political advertising on bus shelters
In addition to the above, some panels may have additional rules set by the local councils or landlords. If you want to be sure that your artwork is compliant, please contact our support team before you book your campaign.
We recommend you to deliver you artwork 4-6 weeks before your campaign starts. This enables us to check the artwork and gives you time to make changes if required.
The actual artwork deadline is 10 working days before the campaign start date. Campaigns that take place near or during public holidays such as Easter and Christmas may require delivery more than 10 working days in advance. Please check with the support team at the time of booking. If you deliver after the deadline, your poster may go up late.

Yes, we can. In fact, printing of the posters is included in the cost.
We make outdoor advertising as simple as possible and hassle free, we arrange everything from printing to placement. All we need is the poster artwork and we take care of the rest
Most outdoor advertising follows a fixed two week posting calendar. When you book media space with us, it will be for a week commencing date starting on a Monday.
There is a five day ‘posting cycle’ where teams of billposters install posters across the country. This means that your ad may go up any working day (Mon-Fri) of that week, and it will stay up for the selected duration.
So if your poster goes up on a Thursday and you’ve booked a campaign for four weeks, your poster will be displayed until the same day four weeks later.

Can I book a panel for personal use? I want to use a panel for a birthday or wedding announcement etc.
Yes, this is possible. But please read this article first:
If you can’t find what you are looking for on our map, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to assist you. You can call 0203 322 1099 or email email@example.com.
Any information that will help us identify what you are looking for is a great help; a description, i.e. large billboard, a postcode, road name (especially if it is at a junction with another road), any landmarks nearby or if you can locate it on google street view, just send us a link and we’ll try our best to identify the panel and get you the information.
We try to make it as obvious as possible on our street view by focusing in on the panel you have clicked on. There is also a description in the top left hand corner of our view details screen
which should help. We know that it can still not be 100% clear and we’re working to improve this.
Sometimes, there isn’t an image available because the panel is in a pedestrianised area or where only permitted vehicles can access. If you have any doubt, please contact the support team by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 0203 322 1099.
Yes you can. Whether it’s a billboard, bus shelter or phone box, there is no minimum order quantity. Just select the site you want, add it to your cart and book it. Its as easy as that.
Yes. There is a built-in discount for booking a panel for longer than 2 weeks. The rate per week reduces the longer you buy the panel for.
Also, as you add more panels to your cart, discount is automatically applied to the total cost. This is a saving on production as the cost is reduced the more you buy.

Outdoor advertising spaces vary in price depending on the popularity of the location and on size.
We recommend booking 8 to 12 weeks in advance to have enough choice and pick your favourite panel(s) . You can book a billboard, bus shelter or phonebox with us up to a year in advance on our website. However, if you want to book even earlier please get in touch with us.
Our goal is to make buying outdoor advertising as easy as possible for you. The prices on our site include printing and posting of your ads. You do need to add VAT though.
The only extra costs we charge are £100 + VAT for design work, £50 + VAT for a print proof and £50 + VAT for a re-print. Please email email@example.com if you have any further pricing inquiries.
A bus shelter generally has two panels. For the majority of bus shelters across the UK, bus shelter advertising is set up in two different orientations. One is a double sided unit where one panel faces into the bus shelter, the other faces outside. The other is two panels side by side facing into the road. The costs on our website are per panel. (Please note that there are some examples where there are more than two panels on a bus shelter)
We offer three payment options:

To get this VAT relief you will need to supply us with:
